Barkuterie Boards:
Do not wash in dishwasher or soak in water. Hand wash with warm mild soap & towel dry. Air dry completely before storing. If food gets trapped in engrave area use a soft bristle brush, such as a drinking straw brush, to clean out food debris. If staining occurs or your board becomes rough from the wood fibers raising after repeat washing, you can lightly sand your board with a 220 grit until smooth or stain is removed (this will not ruin the engraved area.) Treat board periodically with food-grade or food-safe oil and wax of choice to keep your wood board from drying out.

Baking & Cooking Spoons: Do not wash in dishwasher or soak in water. Hand wash with warm mild soap & towel dry. Air dry completely before storing. If food gets trapped in engrave area use a soft bristle brush, such as a drinking straw brush, to clean out food debris. Treat your engraved wood spoon periodically with food-grade or food-safe oil and wax of choice to keep your spoon from drying out.

Cookie Cutters & Tools:  Hand wash only in lukewarm soapy water. Do not soak. Do not wash in dishwasher. Avoid any form of heat or direct sunlight, to prevent your cookie cutters from warping. Small impression pieces can be particularly fragile. To best preserve the impression parts of your cutter, always roll out dough to the proper height it is designed for, just under 1/4 inch (0.635 cm). Avoid applying excessive pressure when stamping and cutting out dough. Store cutters stacked together in the same direction to protect impression parts and prevent them from being stored loosely. With frequent and heavy use, wear and tear on plastic tools can be expected, but proper care can extend the life of your cutter.

Cookie Cutter Baking Tips: For best result, roll out dough slightly under 1/4" to avoid impressions from the cutter backing. Use our rolling pin or an adjustable rolling pin to achieve the proper height and a level dough. For easy release of dough, make sure your dough consistency is not sticky. If dough is slightly sticky, try lightly dusting the cutter with flour. Use non-raising dough to obtain the best looking treats! While baking, pierce bottom of cookie if air pockets are forming and distorting the dough impression. Try one of our shared recipes that we developed to pair with our line of cookie cutters for both beginner and professional bakers. Challenges can be expected when using a gluten-free dog treat recipe, as gluten-free doughs are typically more fragile since gluten isn't present to help create elasticity when working with raw dough. To make it easier to release gluten-free doughs, we suggest ordering our cutter designs as a two-piece set (separate cut-out and stamp) versus our standard one-piece cutter.

Poop Loop: Spot clean with warm soapy water. Do not attach or hang Poop Loop from your dog's collar. It is not intended to be worn as a collar accessory.

Rolling Pin Set: Both our rolling pin & guide rings are dishwasher safe.

Treat Jars: Hand washing recommended. Glass container is dishwasher safe. Hand wash lid, as needed.
